The client’s primary sales channels are Shopify and Amazon. While significant conversions were happening on the Shopify store, their Amazon store was underperforming. We were tasked with auditing and managing their Amazon store to improve rankings and conversions.

The key requirements involved:

  • Amazon Listing Optimization and Data Management: Auditing underperforming Amazon listings and optimizing them for relevant keywords and backend search terms. Enriching incomplete data on product pages to ensure data completeness and improve user engagement.

  • Amazon Product Reinstatement: Recovering suspended and suppressed Amazon listings by identifying the root cause (inaccurate content, listing policy violation, etc.) to restore selling privileges.
  • Amazon Storefront Optimization: Revamping the Amazon storefront by addressing design and navigation issues to enhance user experience and engagement. We had to ensure that top-selling products and the latest collections were prominently displayed and correctly categorized on the Amazon brand store to maximize sales potential.

  • Data Enrichment: We identified and filled data gaps by sourcing information from manufacturers’ databases and reliable online sources. To ensure accuracy, we implemented a two-tier quality-check process in which all enriched details are cross-referenced against two authoritative sources.

Amazon Listing Optimization

To improve product discoverability, engagement, and conversions, we optimized underperforming Amazon listings. Our listing optimization approach involved:

  • Product Page Optimization: We identified top-performing keywords through competitor analysis and strategically incorporated them into the product title, feature bullet list, description, image alt text, and A+ content. Our Amazon copywriters rewrote product descriptions for over 1,000 listings to ensure comprehensive coverage of key product details, including dimensions, materials, and care instructions. Our team ensured that all product descriptions maintain a consistent brand voice and comply with Amazon's style guidelines (avoiding prohibited claims, excessive punctuation, and keyword stuffing).
  • Strategic Parent-Child Mapping: Reorganized variation families to group related SKUs logically. For example, a canvas print available in 5 sizes (12x16, 16x20, 24x36, 30x40, 40x60) and 3 frame options (black, white, natural wood) became a single parent listing with 15 child variations. Rather than creating completely unique A+ Content for 3,800+ listings individually, we developed a scalable template-based approach:
